I read this play, some time ago. It always amazes me how a good actor can take even a small word and inflect it in ways that aren’t immediately apparent on the page.

Finally, a holiday movie I can embrace.

Neill Blomkamp, the dude who created District 9, has a supremely, er, gooey teaser drifting around the Internets (from io9 via Wired).

This is part two of the same short film/ad. Very Lost Highway-style late-’90s neo noir, despite it being shot in 2004.

Apparently, Robert Downey Jr. shot an extended ad for Volvo in 2004. It’s very David Lynch meets, well, a Volvo ad. With an emphasis on David Lynch.
